A Short Video on the Process
Screen printing is a bit of a science. Each element needs to be perfect in order for the screen to be properly prepped and for each image to come out crisp and clear. Here we’ve filmed a short, very amateur, video of the process so you can get a bit more of an idea of the labour that screen printing entails.
Screen Printing Limitations
Since each colour must be printed separately with a different screen, each colour in a design must have strong lines (no sketchy or really thin lines) and defined colours.
We currently only have one 4 colour printing press in operation, meaning we are currently only able to offer prints of designs with 4 or fewer colours per design.
More complicated and detailed designs will likely need to be laser printed or taken to a print shop that has more operational heads on their press
